Powerful testimony. Our legislators won't legislate, our regulators won't regulate, and instead of sending the crooks to prison, we bail them out. The people want change, the politicians promise change, but "liars' loans" aren't the only lies in town--campaign promises are known for their lack of veracity. With the bailouts, the candidates didn't even bother to lie. When 90% of American voters expressed opposition to the bailouts, McCain and Obama issued a joint statement supporting bailouts, thumbing their noses at voters. The next article is relevant because when a country's elections are almost entirely (more than 80%) unverifiable, people don't need voters to get elected, they just need money to buy the programmers. But voters are also to blame. If you know that your government is screwing you, and you go to the ballot box and cast your "consent of the governed" to whoever wins, you're going to continue to get screwed.

It doesn't matter who you vote for. The fact that you continue to vote even when you have no way to know if your vote will be counted, means that you don't care if your vote is counted, no matter how much litigation you bring. If you'll cast a ballot when you don't know if it will be counted, it is you, the voter, who is apathetic--who doesn't care--not the non-voters. The only way to ensure your vote is counted is to stop voting and refuse to vote until we have honest, open elections--something no political party will advocate. So the Three Card Monte game continues, with the consent of the voters who don't want to consent, but don't have the willpower to walk away from the rigged game and keep putting their money on the table.

Finally - some straight, no-nonsense, salt-of-the-earth talk from a true regulator.

These are the kind of people that were banned from even getting heard pre-2008, and it is not until now - after the huge damage has been done to our great nation, that we get to hear from them.

Thank you Mr. Griscom, for showing that a physicist better understands the world as it is than most - if not all - of the greedy, wild-eyed and lying pundits we see & hear on television & radio.

I'm from Philadelphia, and I know that if Thomas Jefferson were alive today, he would not cease day or night in hunting down all the participants in this MAJOR national (and global) financial fraud - until he got a rope around the neck of the very last one for acts of treason - whose laws are still on the books to this very day.

God Bless America.
